AMCAnastasia Marie Chehak, R.D., L.D., C.D.E., is a nationally known diabetes authority, medical professional, educator, licensed dietitian and medical nutritionist and graduate of the of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She is the founder of The Voice of Diabetes®, the first national radio talk show to address the overwhelming spread of diabetes across the globe; a visionary trend-setter who is changing the way America looks at diabetes. Having Type 1 Diabetes herself and being a pioneer Certified Diabetes Educator, Anastasia has long been on the frontline recognizing the danger of the growing diabetes epidemic and the need to help improve the health of our nation. In her many roles, Anastasia brings valuable leadership and depth of knowledge of diabetes. She is leading a campaign with medical professionals to unite and inspire persons with diabetes, their families and communities to take real and sustained actions to embrace healthier lifestyles, reduce the risk of complications, and how to "live well with diabetes."

As the host of The Voice of Diabetes®, radio program, Anastasia fosters dialogue across a spectrum of needs. Anastasia promotes change for improved health outcomes, focusing on empowering and motivating persons with diabetes.

Anastasia is also founder, President and CEO of Anastasia Skin Science Laboratories, Inc. (AM Labs). Her entrepreneurial spirit, vision, dedication and pioneering research created a whole new market category by introducing to the world the first FDA-approved diabetic skin care products. She continues to consult in the area of diabetes management, prevention and treatment. Anastasia has been featured in over 100 publications in retail pharmacy and diabetes journals and is a regular speaker on the topic. She is also winner of the "innovator of the Year Award" for developments in diabetes skin and foot care.

Anastasia serves as a volunteer on the Advisory Board for the American Diabetes Association of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Inter-Tribal Diabetes Coalition. She maintains professional membership in the American Diabetes Association, American Dietetic Association and American Association of Diabetes Educators.
